Artist’s Statement: This is the direction I am working in now- non objective abstraction. Color is the subject but it needs a structure; not so easy in this way of working. Surface texture is important. And, beyond that one tries to create space and depth, if possible, using all the principles and elements of art including mark making/drawing and color relationships.
