Empty Mirror opened its virtual doors on May 31, 2000. EM was originally a bookselling site specializing in collectible Beat Generation and small press poetry books. Over time, we added articles, essays, poetry, art, and Beat Generation resources.
In 2012, EM re-launched as an online magazine. It still is — we don’t have numbered issues, but we publish new essays, poetry, and art every Friday.
It’s our birthday but you get the gifts!
In June 2017, to celebrate our 17th birthday, we’re giving away some goodies. We’ve found some fun things in the archives, but there’s also new, branded Empty Mirror swag. Some of our contributors have supplied surprises too.
Want some EM goodies? Let us know your information and interests and we’ll send you an envelope with some freebies in it.
Only your name and address is required, but if you tell us a little bit about the kinds of things you like, we just might be able to send something extra special your way.
That’s not all
We’ll be giving away books and art throughout June and will announce the m via Twitter and our weekly newsletter.
