THE MAGIC BUS
San Francisco 1997| Pictured here is Ken Kesey's second Magic Bus. It is on the way to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. I was hired by them to shoot the Kesey party at the Fillmore Auditorium. The first bus rotted away in field in Oregon. This 'new' bus is going to be inducted at the Hall of Fame in Ohio and the Fillmore is one of it's celebrated stops. The Hall of Fame supplied new tires to help make it a safe journey. Neal Cassady was one of the original drivers. His son, John, is a driver on this second bus. |
