A friend is looking for a book that her mother had as a child. It was very special to Mom and her daughter would like to identify it so she can buy a copy for her!
Here’s what we know:
— Mom was born in 1964 in the USA, and would likely have read the book in the last half of the 1960s or the early 1970s.
— We don’t know when it was published. We believe it’s a picture book.
— It’s about an old man who owns a little donkey that pulls a soda cart or wagon. When the kids in the neighborhood hear the wagon or see it, they can’t wait to run up and buy a soda, especially in the summer. And at the end of the day, the old man and donkey always have a soda together.
If you have ideas, please leave a comment below, or email us. (It would be a very special Mother’s Day gift!)
