McCLURE IN 3D STEREO
Michael McClure and I did a lot of projects together in the 1980s. In fact, the only Beat photography I accomplished in those days was of Michael or his family. Every couple of years he would come by the studio for some portrait work for a book cover or a promo.|
Stereo photography is a hobby of mine. In the fifth grade, I was the kid on the bench during lunch making 3D flipbooks. During one of my photo sessions with Michael, (after I shot a Polaroid to check my lighting) I said to him, "Let's make this Polaroid levitate and do a stereo photograph." He loved it.
I have two versions of the same image for you, the viewer, to play with. The red/blue version needs red/blue glasses to view this image in 3D. The stereopticon version needs a stereopticon viewer to see it in 3D. I know some people can cross their eyes to see the image in stereo. You the viewer, have my permission to print these images to see them better. Remember that these are copyrighted images.
