John Germain was born in 1949, raised in Southern California

Immigrated to Australia 1969 one day ahead of his draft notice where
he worked in Sydney on the New South Wales Railroad as a booking
'clark' doing a stint on a double decker bus.

Repatriated in 71 the author roamed the northwest -
Firefights, Ski Resort, and a bookstore in Anchorage,
Alaska to seismic oil exploration in the wilds of Oklahoma.

Settled in Oregon, married with children and still seeking.
