He threw money at the NY Stock Exchange with Abbie Hoffman
and Jerry Rubin and was arrested in Chicago during the 1968
Democratic Convention. While being busted, Albert was in the
presence of Pigassus the Pig, the Yippie! candidate for president.

He ran for Sheriff of Alameda County in California
and received 65,000 votes.

In 1971 he traveled to Allende's Chile with Rubin and
folk singer Phil Ochs and developed an understanding
and love for Neruda while traveling through his
nation and its doomed dreams.
