In these photographs of street signs in and around London, I have digitally replaced the existing directions with my own observations, thoughts and memories. I aim to transform these utilitarian, monotonous surfaces into something personal and poetic.

Tony Rickaby’s conceptual works, installations and paintings have been shown throughout Europe and the US.
