Nothing (but)

hiromi suzuki

It is a rainy day, there’s no one in the forest.
My right retina as a lens of camera shoots this scene.
Left retina memorises this time.
I remember that Roland Barthes called it “the punctum”,
and also the testimony of life beyond that moment.
In the forest, there’s nothing (but).
