Silvery Twines, Embracing: Eight Paintings by Cristina Querrer

Cristina Querrer

My work explores the relationship between modern discourse and otherworldly spaces. With influences as diverse as Helen Frankenthaler and Frida Kahlo, new variations are crafted from both mundane and transcendent structures.

I have always been fascinated by the theoretical expanse of the universe. What starts out as vision soon becomes debased into a tragedy of distress, leaving only a sense of failing and the chance of a new understanding.

As temporal replicas become clarified through emergent and personal practice, the viewer is left with a testament to our limitless landscapes.

These paintings are available for purchase at cristinaquerrer.com/art.
