About Leticia del Toro

Leticia del Toro received her PhD at University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. She is the author of the book, Experimentación, Intertextualidad e Historia en la obra de Susan Howe, the first publication of this category in the Spanish language.

She has also published several articles on Howe´s work such as "Innovation and Tradition: Susan Howe and the Difficulty of Printing Art in Printed Form," "Una proyección literaria en clave histórica de la América colonial," "Representaciones de la figura de Carlos I de Inglaterra en la Literatura Contemporánea: Teatralidad y Santidad," or "La Búsqueda de la identidad en la literatura contemporánea: el ejemplo de Susan Howe.” She has also participated in different literary congress around Europe (Dublin, Vienna, London, Lisbon, Oporto, Aalborg, Valladolid, etc.).
