A poem by Azadeh Asahi

Azadeh Asadi

poem by Azadeh Asadi

By my sweetheart’s body,
on the lands beyond the borders,
a flower has grown.

Every morning,
my eyes
water the enemy’s garden.

Azadeh, I cried. What a poem in so few words. Almost haiku.
